Job summary

Nestlé Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Costing Specialist to provide accurate costings for manufacturing, partnering with Factory Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Business Planning. You will drive standard cost budgeting, period-end close, and cost optimisation initiatives to support business performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting and at least 5 years in costing or manufacturing finance, with strong SAP and Excel skills, and the ability to influence across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Costing, or related areas.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or supply chain environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and manufacturing costing.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse manufacturing variances, providing insights to Management and Operations.
• Monitor and analyse actual production costs, identify cost drivers, and advise on improvements.
• Support period-end closing activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead the annual Standard Cost Budget process in collaboration with Factory and stakeholders.
• Maintain costing data integrity within SAP and assist with master data management.
• Collaborate with Costing Centre of Competence on close activities and governance.
