Job summary

iCrest Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced procurement professional to strategize and execute commodity plans across the supply base in Malaysia. The role focuses on supplier evaluation, cost reduction, and lifecycle management to support manufacturing objectives.

You will build and lead supplier relationships, develop sourcing alternatives, and drive negotiations to achieve best-in-class pricing and service levels for critical components.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive experience in Purchasing & Sourcing in manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical products, stamping and machining parts.
• NAPM/APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver year over year cost savings and productivity.
• Lead commodity strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce total cost.
• Provide commodity support to New Product Teams to meet target costs.
• Negotiate and execute purchase orders or supplier contracts as needed.
• Establish measurable KPIs for procurement activities including supplier performance and internal order placement.
