CapBay is seeking a Collection Officer in Selangor to recover outstanding payments and maintain client relationships. You will discuss repayment plans, keep detailed records, escalate complex cases, and work with the team to improve recovery strategies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional background in collection or debt recovery.
• Diploma in Office Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers to discuss outstanding payments and negotiate repayment plans.
• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and payment arrangements.
• Identify and escalate complex cases to appropriate teams.
• Collaborate with the wider team to develop debt recovery strategies.
• Adhere to laws, regulations and company policies regarding debt collection.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Monitor collections and implement processes to achieve targets.
• Manage and update collection sheets and related ad-hoc tasks.
• Conduct customer site visits as required.
