Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia seeks a Sales Engineer for Fabrication Solutions in the South Asia Pacific region. You will drive growth of engineered piping, design, and prefabrication solutions with EPCs, OEMs, consultants, and end users, from early design to handover.

The role requires 4–5 years of experience in technical sales or fabrication, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and strong communication across regional teams to ensure profitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering is required.
• 3–7 years’ experience in technical sales, fabrication, sales engineering, or project-based environments.
• Ability to work across regional teams and interpret P&IDs and isometrics.

Responsibilities

• Engage with EPCs, OEMs, consultants, and end users to identify fabrication project opportunities and capture required information.
• Translate client requirements into accurate technical and commercial proposals with the proposal team.
• Manage customer accounts by monitoring quotations and coordinating with internal teams to meet commitments.
• Negotiate and close opportunities through presentations, tender support, and contract discussions, ensuring profitability and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with regional sales, proposal, and PFC teams while providing market insights for business cases.
• Deliver sales growth and order intake for design and prefabrication, exploring new markets and applications.
