Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking an Analyst, Strategy & Transformation within Consumer Financial Services Malaysia to support daily sales performance reporting, forecasting, and MIS tasks. You will report to the Head of Retail Analytics & Sales Performance and help deliver data-driven insights to senior management.

The role requires a Diploma in a quantitative field, strong Excel/SQL/Python skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Diploma in a quantitative discipline with 1–2 years of related experience.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL and Python; strong data validation and analysis.
Data warehousing knowledge is a plus.
Good communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate and timely support for daily sales performance reporting and ad-hoc MIS requests for sales strategic planning/forecast.
Understand operational flow and identify key operational risk areas.
Document procedure changes to ensure audit compliance.
Assist with day-to-day activities for Sales Performance.
Assist with data analysis, data validation and feature engineering for raw datasets.
Assist with User Acceptance Testing when required.
Analyse sales performance data to generate insights for senior management.
Develop forecasting models using predictive analytics for sales across channels.
Conduct scenario testing/simulations to test and learn hypotheses for productivity.
