Job summary

r2p in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks an experienced Accountant to join our growing Finance team. You will handle supplier and customer invoicing, reconciliations, and assist with monthly closings and cash flow updates.

You will work closely with Project Teams, Bankers, Auditors, and tax agents to ensure accuracy and compliant reporting. A degree in accounting and 3–5 years of hands-on experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience in SME/project environments.
• Knowledge of Malaysian GAAP and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and payments; reconcile supplier statements.
• Prepare customer invoices; reconcile customer statements and follow up on balances.
• Perform bank reconciliations, month-end closings, and intercompany files.
• Assist with cash flow updates and forecasts; support audits and statutory reporting.
• Maintain asset and stock listings; ensure records are accurate.
