Job summary

YL Central Services Sdn. Bhd. in Rawang, Selangor, seeks a Warehouse Store Supervisor who can lead daily store operations, enforce 5S and ISO standards, and coordinate forklift maintenance. The role requires basic computer skills and Excel, with additional advantage for experience supervising teams.

You will manage FIFO stock, conduct toolbox talks, monitor deliveries, and work with customers on delivery matters, while helping develop efficiency improvements and cost-saving policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience handling subordinates is an added advantage.
• Preferred candidate with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong leadership and discipline while strictly adhering to company policies, objectives, safety and health requirements, the 5S system, and ISO standards.
• Support the conduct of daily toolbox meetings related to 5S practices, safety risks, and workplace discipline during working hours.
• Manage daily store operations, workflow processes, and delivery requirements, including activities for the JB warehouse and Factory 2.
• Monitor inventory reports and ensure all stock items are issued according to the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.
• Assist in re-training store staff to carry out their daily duties effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure that daily preventive maintenance for all forklifts is performed properly and according to the required procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health standards, maintain store cleanliness, and implement precautions to protect the store from loss or pilferage risks.
• Assist in developing and recommending policies to reduce costs, optimize store capacity utilization, and improve planning and distribution activities.
• Communicate and coordinate with customers regarding delivery-related matters.
• Assist with any other assignments given by top management from time to time.
