Job summary

Viridian Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking an enthusiastic part‑time STEM teacher to conduct weekly classes for children aged 4-12 in Shah Alam. You will guide students through building mechanical models using LEGO-based kits and explain engineering concepts in an engaging way.

After training, you should be able to conduct classes independently, manage the classroom, ensure student safety, and provide progress feedback to parents.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Energetic, patient and enthusiastic personality.
• Able to conduct classes independently after training.
• Prior teaching, tutoring, childcare or event facilitation experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly STEM, engineering and mechanics classes for children aged 4-12.
• Guide students in building mechanical models using LEGO-based educational kits.
• Explain engineering and scientific concepts in a fun and engaging manner.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes.
• Assist in holiday camps, workshops, school events and promotional activities when required.
• Provide feedback to parents regarding student participation and progress.
• Maintain and organize educational kits, classroom equipment and teaching materials.
• Attend instructor training sessions conducted by the company.

Requirements

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree students are encouraged to apply.
• Preferred fields: Engineering, Sciences, Physics, Education, Early Childhood Education, Communications, Psychology, or related disciplines.
