Job summary

Intel Malaysia in Penang is seeking a contract finance professional to support SAP S/4HANA user acceptance testing, design and implementation, and cross-functional SAP configuration and unit testing.

The role covers statutory filings, global/regional compliance with IFRS/local GAAP, US GAAP, and audits. You will collaborate with Tax, Legal, MnA, Procurement, and Corporate Services to ensure timely financial deliverables and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in accounting.
• 2+ years experience in a global organization, external auditor experience or SAP S/4 knowledge preferred.
• Strong project management, communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently or with large teams.
• Ability to collaborate across geographies with high ambiguity; strong business partnership.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and local GAAP/IFRS knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience in shared services handling compliances across multiple regions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP S/4HANA system user acceptance testing and configuration.
• Manage end-to-end statutory audits and prepare PBC schedules and audit documentation.
• Handle monthly/quarterly governmental filings (Registrar of Companies, Inland Revenue, etc.).
• Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities and financial reviews.
• Support regulatory audits (IRB, Customs, National Statistics) as needed.
• Advise stakeholders on regulatory/compliance matters; assist with ESG, AMLA and new standards.
