Job summary

Pacific & Orient Insurance Co. Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a junior data analyst to support data preparation, cleansing, and validation for portfolio analytics.

You will assist in generating monthly statistical reports, monitor loss ratios and claims costs, and help prepare data for regulatory submissions to Bank Negara Malaysia. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• Recent graduates that are eager to launch a career in data-driven risk analysis within the insurance sector are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling large volumes of numerical data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Good programming skills and familiarity with programming languages will be an advantage.
• Strong statistical and analytical skills.
