Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia seeks a Customs Governance specialist to ensure compliance, manage trade requirements and drive efficiency across the supply chain.

You will lead internal controls, monitor regulatory changes, coordinate with global teams and deliver trainings. A 3-year track record in logistics and strong MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree with minimum of Class 2 Upper Division Honours.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Logistics, preferably in Customs Compliance.
  • In depth knowledge in Customs domain such as HTS Classification, Customs Valuation, Free Trade Agreements, Rules of Origin, various tax regimes, licensed manufacturing warehouses and Free Trade zones.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

  • Customs Governance and advisory for Infineon Companies with complex customs activities.
  • Guide, monitor the implementation of Internal Control Programme to ensure customs compliance.
  • Monitor the changes in customs regulations and laws then translate them into operational guidance.
  • Partnership with Customs process owner from Infineon Companies to optimize the processes and work instructions in accordance to Infineon corporate rules regularly.
  • Plan and conduct internal customs audit.
  • Responsible for AEO programme by way of planning, application, audit and renewal of AEO certification.
  • Drive harmonization of local tools and processes
  • Perform Customs Trainings to relevant departments and employees.
