Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Malaysia seeks a Staff Product Testing Engineer to drive yield enhancement and reduce test costs across the product life cycle. You will work with test engineering, assembly, quality and OSAT to resolve issues and ensure manufacturability.

A bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and 7+ years in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing are required, with strong knowledge of analog/digital/power testing and RCA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in High Volume Semiconductor Manufacturing, preferably in Test Product Engineering, Test Engineering or Product Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital/power product test methodologies, failure analysis, reliability testing and RCA.
• Proficiency with JMP and Spotfire for data analysis.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Experience with ATE tester platforms (Teradyne ETS364/Flex, Advantest).

Responsibilities

• Interface with cross-functional teams through all phases of the product life cycle.
• Drive yield improvements, reduce test costs and ensure overall quality and manufacturability of devices.
• Review and disposition low-yield production lots; conduct root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with test engineering, assembly, quality, internal factory and OSAT to resolve issues.
• Execute day-to-day sustaining activities to ensure delivery fulfillment.
