Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Malaysia (Ipoh, Perak) is seeking a Sr Product Testing Engineer to lead disposition of low-yield production lots, drive root-cause analysis, and coordinate with test engineering, assembly, quality, and OSAT to ensure smooth production flow.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with 3+ years in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, plus strong test methodologies and data analysis skills. On-site work arrangement in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field.
• >3 years of experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment preferably in Test Product Engineering, Test Engineering or Product Engineering.
• Strong understanding of product knowledge & test methodology of analog/digital/power product, failure analysis, reliability test, RCA.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis tools (JMP, Spotfire, etc.).
• Good communication skills to interact with people at all levels.
• Experience with Teradyne ETS364/Flex and Advantest testers (nice to have).

• Review and disposition on low-yield production lots and drive root-cause analysis.
• Work closely with test engineering, assembly, quality, internal factory and OSAT to resolve issues.
• Execute day-to-day sustaining activities to improve yield and delivery fulfillment.
• Qualification and validation of new products and tester platform migration.
• Pursue Gross Margin Improvement Initiatives (Yield improvement, etc.).
• Must Have Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or related field.
