Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking a manufacturing/engineering professional to maintain and improve quality cases, govern process control and documentation, and manage material usage and wastage in LED assembly.

You will support internal and customer audits, lead productivity improvements and capacity extension, and collaborate with Product Development, PI, PO and BT for new product and process setups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Engineering / Materials / Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing/engineering experience, LED assembly preferred.
• Understanding of semiconductor backend processes integration.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control, 8D, and problem solving.
• Strong data analytics ability and communication skills.
• Knowledge of LEDs/IC semiconductor production value streams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible in maintaining and improving quality cases, maverick and yield performance.
• Process owner to govern and improve process control and documentation.
• Direct and indirect material usage consumption and wastage control.
• To support internal audit & customer audit, and response on audit findings.
• Lead and support productivity improvement and capacity extension.
• To work closely with Product Development, PI, PO and BT for new product/process setup and proper process handshake/pass over.
