Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia is seeking a development-focused engineer for wet processes, including deflashing, cleaning, stripping and plating. The role requires strong hands-on assembly knowledge and a background in chemical engineering or related fields.

Qualifications

Masters/Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or related field.
Strong hands-on knowledge in assembly area.
Material science and chemical engineering know-how.

Responsibilities

Perform deflashing, cleaning, stripping and plating development activities to meet timeline, quality, cost and manufacturability.
Support prototype and development samples build.
Generate and update wet process documents (Process Specification, PFMEA, DFMEA, OJTI, T32, PDR).
Provide inputs for updating wet process documents and ensure correct contents (Process of Record, Assembly Design Rule, Failure catalogue, Control Plan).
Liaise with wet process suppliers for continuous improvement and verification activities.
Initiate, generate and drive IP ideas based on experience and research.
