Responsibilities

• Development and optimization of products and components.


• Defining and optimizing workflows for instruments.


• Supporting product ramp-up to serial production and approval of quality standards for assembled products.


• Reviewing standard operating procedures and improving assembly and testing processes.


• Maintaining our existing portfolio together with operations, purchasing and vendors.


• Efficient cooperation with engineering in mechanics, electronics, software including other Bruker sites and vendors.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Physics, or other physical science subject.


• 3 years’ experience of R&D in industry.


• Experience in X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy, X-Ray Diffraction, analytical instrumentation, or other X-ray analytical techniques.


• Understanding and hands-on experience of data collection and evaluation.


• Basic knowledge in programming and electronics design appreciated.


• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).


• Appreciation and understanding of different cultures and religions.


• Very good communication skills for internal and global teleconferences in English.


• Assignment requires 1–2 month training session at a Bruker headquarters in Europe and occasional travel to Europe within R&D projects.
