Avisena Specialist Hospital in Shah Alam is seeking a Staff Nurse for Daycare on a two-shift schedule to join a dedicated team. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care with supervision from senior staff, while upholding privacy and dignity in all interactions.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clear communication with multidisciplinary staff, and providing high-quality nursing support.

Responsabilidades

• Carries out a full range of registered nurse duties, as a member of team and assisting other team members in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient’s condition and care with support from the nurse in charge.
• Ensures that own practices and interactions are adhering to Avisena and department policies based on the preservation of a client’s privacy, dignity and individuality and that confidentiality is maintained.
• Participates in establishing a good working environment where clients receive a high standard of care.
• Uses effective communication, written and verbal with all levels of staff including the multidisciplinary team, patients and relatives.
• Maintains a safe environment when caring for those patients requiring frequent levels of nursing care.
• Ensures all patient care and treatment are maintain in high standards and quality at all times.
• Works with minimal supervision once key learning outcomes of the induction/ orientation or preceptorship programme have been completed.
• Is able to prioritize nursing care, recognize deterioration in a patient’s condition and alert senior staff immediately
• Adheres to the agreed procedures as identified, and promotes by example, a high standard of good quality nursing care in the department.
• Documents incidents in real time and escalated these to nurse in charge/ head of department.
• Maintains complete, accurate, contemporaneous and legible written records of care.
• Fosters good relationships with other departments, the multidisciplinary team and visitors to the unit. Helps to achieve and maintain morale for both staff and patients.
• Participates in the health education and explanation of treatment to patients and relatives (in ward and during discharge communication).
• Provides support and assistance to HOD in managing ward Quality Improvement Activity (QIA).

The designee will work as part of a team to provide a safe, effective, efficient care environment for patients, relatives and carers. They will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care with direct supervision from senior staff. Responsible for the assessment of care needs, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
