Job summary

Mudah Healthcare is seeking a qualified Occupational Health Nurse to join our clinics in Malaysia. The role focuses on nursing duties, patient care, and administrative tasks across multiple clinic sites, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and patient education.

Requirements include a diploma in nursing or medical assistant, valid BOFA/BLS, and MOH Annual Practising Certificate, plus at least two years in a hospital or clinic. Willingness to travel between clinics is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing or Diploma in Medical Assistant.
• Valid BOFA and BLS certificates.
• Registered with Malaysia Nursing Board (Nurse) or Medical Assistant Board (MA).
• Annual Practising Certificate from the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
• At least 2 years of hospital/clinic experience; emergency/trauma or industrial medicine experience a plus.
• Willingness to travel between clinics.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties including examinations, diagnostic tests, medication administration, and patient care.
• Conduct injections, vaccines, blood draws, wound care, and sterilization of instruments.
• Assist in stock replenishment for aid and physician kits; maintain treatment rooms.
• Handle appointments, billing, and inventory; operate ECG and AED as needed.
• Greet, register and provide patient care with professional rapport and public relations.
• Provide first aid and manage work-related medical emergencies and evacuations when required.
• Ensure facility readiness and waste management; maintain calibration records.

• 1 – Able to perform nursing duty – conduct physical examination, perform diagnostic test, record medical information, administrating medications and treatment, patient support and care.
• 2 - To perform other clinical tasks such as giving injections or vaccines, blood taking, dispensing drugs to patients, administer nebulizer and oxygen, wound dressing and removing sutures etc.
• 3 - Keen to learn about special arrangement of various type of aid kits and physician kits for client as half of the the day to day task is to replenish the kits stock.
• 4 - To prepare and maintain a safe and clean treatment and examination rooms in the clinic or designated area. To ensure all the clinical instruments are clean and sterilized.
• 5 - Able to perform administrative duties (appointment scheduling, billing and inventory), operate various medical equipment such as ECG and AED; and educate patients about illness is an extra advantage.
• 6 - To greet and register patients arriving at the clinic, handle patients with professional care, build rapport with patients, maintain good public relation with patients.
• 7 - Well verse in first aid and medical treatment: Offer first aid and medical treatment for work-related cases.
• 8 - Facility Readiness: Maintain medical facilities' operational readiness. Including clinical waste management and maintain medical equipment calibration record.
• 9 - Medical Emergency Management: Assist doctors with medical emergencies, including resuscitation and stabilization.
• 10 - Medical Evacuation: Conduct medical evacuations and safe assistance to transport sick or injured persons to hospital when necessary.
• 11 - To perform any ad hoc duties as assign.

Requirement

• 1 - Minimum Diploma in Nursing or Diploma in Medical Assistant.
• 2 – Additional certificate of completion from DOSH is required for Occupational Health Nurse.
• 3 – Valid professional registration and license. Registered with Malaysia Nursing Board (Nurse) or Medical Assistant Board (MA)
• 4 - A valid Annual Practising Certificate from the Malaysian Ministry of Health.
• 5 - At least 2 years of working experience in the hospital / clinic. Additional experience in emergency or trauma unit or as an Industrial Medic/Nurse will be extra advantage.
• 6 - Will have at least Basic Occupational First Aid (BOFA) certificate and Basic Life Support certificate (BLS). Valid certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) will be an extra advantage.
• 7 - Able to perform blood draw will be an extra advantage.
• 8 - Able to travel and work independently from one clinic to another clinic will be an extra advantage.
• 9 - Keen to learn, proactive and good working etiquette. Good interpersonal skills with pleasant personality, customer-oriented.
• 10 - Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
