Job summary

Lifecare Diagnostic Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a nurse with no experience required to join our medical team. You will perform basic medical tests, assist doctors, provide hands-on nursing care, phlebotomy, IV insertion, and monitor patients’ conditions while adhering to MOH guidelines.

Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided. Multilingual abilities (English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin) are an advantage. Willingness to work on shift and public holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma/Degree in Nursing.
• Must possess a valid APC as recognized by Malaysian Nursing Board.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (Training will be provided).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Multilingual abilities (English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin) are an added advantage.
• Willing to work on shift / public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Nursing Standards, MOH guidelines and hospital policies.
• Provide basic medical tests to patients and support the health screening process.
• Assist doctors in all clinical operations and procedures.
• Provide hands-on care including phlebotomy, IV insertion, and patient monitoring.
• Ensure medical equipment is in good working condition and report faults to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient notes, documents and records.
• Handle documentation and administrative tasks at day end.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager.

• Adheres to all policies and procedures, Nursing Standards and Code of Ethics.
• Provide effective nursing care such as conducting basic medical tests to patients and handling patients’ health screening process.
• To provide assistance and support to the doctor in all aspects of the medical operations and procedures.
• Provide hands‑on care to patients by performing phlebotomy, inserting & managing intravenous lines, and observing and monitoring patients’ conditions.
• Ensure that nursing procedures are carried out following MOH guidelines.
• Ensure all medical equipment is in good working condition and report if they are faulty to the superior.
• Keep track of supplies & equipment.
• To report all incidents/accidents related to patients and staff in the department to the superior.
• Ensure administration work is completed and updated at the end of the day.
• Able to multitask, such as proper documentation, passing confidential documents, and maintaining accurate and detailed notes, reports, and records.
• Maintain absolute confidentially in respect of patient records, medical nursing, and allied health professionals.
• To perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse manager.
