What You’ll Do
Deliver Safe, High-Quality Care: Be the driving force in creating a safe care environment for all patients, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and standards of practice.
Surgical and Procedural Assistance: Efficiently prepare patients for treatment, administer care, and demonstrate essential skills to assist doctors during eye procedures in the treatment room and/or operating theatre, ensuring adherence to strict aseptic technique in all ophthalmology procedures. Competent in phlebotomy and IV cannulation (a strong advantage but not essential).
Maintain Clinical Readiness: Ensure the proper function and availability of critical medical equipment and supplies. Help manage and maintain inventory stock levels.
Perform key pre-operative assessments across various anaesthesia levels.
Develop Care Strategies: Partner with the medical team to design and implement effective, personalised care plans. Empower patients and families through clear education and open communication.
Be a Valued Team Member: Show up punctually and dependably. Be flexible to float and support other clinical services where needed. Contribute to a supportive, professional team atmosphere and commit to continuous learning.

We Are Looking for Someone Who has:
Staff Nurse/Medical Assistant with or without experience.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Possess a Diploma or its equivalent.
At least 2 years of working experience (not necessarily in the ophthalmology discipline).
Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and Basic Life Support certification required.
Good command of written and verbal communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is an advantage.
Pleasant and courteous in dealing with patients, doctors, and colleagues; self-motivated and a team player.
