Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. in Malaysia is seeking a Staff Equipment Engineer (PVD) to drive uptime and reliability across our workcentres. You will analyze equipment malfunctions, develop corrective actions and lead preventive maintenance initiatives to reduce failures.

You will implement improvements for reliability and scalability, and train junior engineers and technicians. The role requires good troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems, including robots handling, sensors,

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze equipment malfunctions and develop corrective actions.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures to reduce equipment failures.
• Support training for junior engineers/technicians and handle ad-hoc hours when required.

About the job Staff Equipment Engineer ( PVD )

• Responsible for Equipment uptime, MTTR, MTBF, etc at respective workcentres.
• Analyze equipment malfunctions and failures and accordingly develop corrective actions.
• Develop improvements to enhance equipment reliability and scalability. Develop preventive maintenance procedures to reduce equipment failures through improvements. Develop cost-reduction initiatives while still maintaining quality and productivity.
• Good troubleshooting skills in &electrical , mechanical which &covers robots handling, sensors, valves , pumps , chillers and abatement systems.
• Carry out job trainings to &junior engineers / &technicians as and when required. Able to support ah-hoc hours ( weeekends, Public Holidays ) &thorugh phone calls / Walk_In are preferrable
