Job summary

Infineon Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Staff Engineer Equipment Engineering to drive planned maintenance and continuous improvement for critical Trim Form Singulation equipment. You will lead maintenance teams, govern equipment qualification, and implement engineering solutions to support manufacturing excellence.

You will develop maintenance/calibration schedules, manage costs, and drive upgradation of equipment with the latest technology to sustain high performance in production

Qualifications

• Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics / Mechatronics / Semiconductor Technology) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Broad background in mechanical engineering / manufacturing with knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
• Strong statistical data analysis, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with latest equipment/technology and upgrading existing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive planned maintenance and continuous improvement for the Trim Form Singulation process to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
• Lead equipment governance, qualification of new platforms, and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Develop and maintain maintenance and calibration schedules for all tools, machinery and equipment used in the facility.
• Manage maintenance cost to sustain equipment performance; execute EQ governance framework.
• Drive a culture of equipment improvement through training, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with module MNT and PUR to optimize maintenance costs and implement new equipment/technology qualification for production.
