Job summary

Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Malacca City is seeking a Staff Engineer, Engineering Sample, to oversee end-to-end sample orders from planning to delivery. You will coordinate with requestors and cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and fulfillment of customer requirements, while driving operational excellence in WIP, cycle time and OTD metrics.

You will collaborate with the technical team on new assembly and test capabilities, monitor KPIs, generate ES cost recovery

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years in semiconductor industry, with knowledge in engineering sample, NPI, or production planning.
Understanding of BE Process Flow and BOM basics.
Experience with production logistics and related software.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate sample orders from planning through delivery.
Drive operational excellence by resolving production issues, improving WIP and logistics performance.
Monitor KPIs, lead expedited builds to meet cycle time, OTD, quality and revenue targets.
Liaise with technical experts for new assembly and test capabilities/process.
Monitor SPO on time closure and maintain SAMP WIP at minimum level.
Generate ES cost recovery, ES CT, OTD reports and perform gap analysis.
