Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Staff Engineer, Electrical Design in Bayan Lepas, Penang to lead design, development and testing of electrical systems for diverse applications. You will work with customers, manufacturing engineering and project leadership to ensure high-quality product development and robust schematics, BOMs and diagrams.

The role requires strong technical leadership, ability to interpret complex requirements, and collaboration with vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to engineers; may be a recognized expert in one or more areas.
• Review customer requirements and develop deployment strategies and plans.
• Coordinate with vendors/partners and cross-functional teams to ensure robust product development.
