Job summary

ELSA in Malaysia Sabah seeks an experienced SSHE professional to coordinate Well Services safety activities and ensure regulatory compliance. You will provide SSHE guidance, perform risk assessments, develop procedures, and support field operations with contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Diploma in Science/Engineering and at least 8 years in oil & gas, preferably PSC environments, with strong knowledge of SSHE standards and risk management. On-site arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Science, Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university/institution.
• Good knowledge of SSHE standards, risk management, and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support SSHE activities for Well Services operations, ensuring compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide SSHE guidance and oversight for well services activities, including risk assessments, safety procedures, and field operations.
• Monitor and promote safe work practices and support the implementation of SSHE standards across well services operations.
• Work closely with Well Services, Operations, and contractors to identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
• Participate in SSHE inspections, audits, incident investigations, and safety improvement initiatives.
