Job summary

Deloitte Southeast Asia seeks a SR&T Manager, Valuation & Modeling for the Kuala Lumpur office. You will lead valuation engagements across business combinations, asset valuations, and related analyses, partnering with clients to drive strategic decisions and risk mitigation.

The role demands 7+ years in valuation, strong modelling skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements while developing teams. On-site in Kuala Lumpur with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant valuation experience.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Quantitative Finance, or related discipline; professional certifications such as CVA or CFA are advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to lead multiple engagements concurrently with strong project management and client-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required by engagements.

Responsibilities

• Perform valuations for business combinations, including purchase price allocations and financial instrument valuations.
• Support impairment analyses for goodwill and long-lived assets for financial reporting.
• Prepare valuation reports and client deliverables with clear insights and recommendations.
• Lead and coach teams, manage scopes, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
• Develop practical, value-driven recommendations and maintain strong client relationships.
