Job summary

Deloitte Southeast Asia is seeking a Senior Consultant/Consultant to join the SR&T – Valuation & Modeling practice in Kuala Lumpur. You will perform business, intangible asset, and financial instrument valuations, contribute to model development, and prepare client-ready valuation reports for complex engagements.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant valuation experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and Capital IQ.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or Quantitative Finance with strong academics.
• CFA or CVA credentials are advantageous.
• 3–5 years of valuation experience in business, intangible assets or financial instruments.
• Experience in fair value valuations for financial reporting and in preparing valuation reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform valuations for business combinations, assets, and financial instruments.
• Support impairment analyses and tax valuation purposes.
• Develop and present valuation analyses and client-ready reports.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and clients to deliver insights.
