Job summary

Deloitte & Touche LLP in Malaysia is seeking a SR&T Consultant focused on Project Management for Banking. You will work within the Regulatory & Financial Risk practice, advising clients on risk transformation, data and modeling solutions, and driving end-to-end engagements across markets.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management and delivering actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fields and 3–5 years’ experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the domestic collections and cross-border payments process.
• Good understanding of cross-border e-commerce operating models and merchant journeys.
• Experience with channels and connectivity, including integration approaches and partner onboarding.
• Good to have an overview of AI, with ability to apply AI/automation to operational and compliance processes.

Work you will do

Deloitte is growing its Strategy, Risk, and Transaction (SR&T) – Regulatory & Financial Risk practice in Southeast Asia. We provide risk transformation, data and modeling solutions focusing on some of the unique and complex issues our clients are facing in finance. Advise our clients how to optimize compliance programs, standardize processes and transform compliance to protect their value across the business, while building great visibility, efficiency and confidence for the future.

You will work alongside our clients to bring a rigorous, evidence based analytical capability to help them solve pressing and complex issues. This includes revealing insight and delivering value through pragmatic and actionable recommendations. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our clients to understand the forces that are driving change, identifying opportunities and develop solutions across the whole organization.

The nature of the work we do includes:

• Experience driving end-to-end engagements starting from problem identification to solution delivery.
• Driving transformation across markets/countries.
• Strong stakeholder management, ideal candidate should have liaised with stakeholders across Product, IT, Ops, Business, cross functional teams during the engagement life cycle.
• Interaction with senior stakeholders including regional heads and country heads of OPS and product in the region.
• Experience with managing multi-country rollouts and large-scale engagements.
• Managing project governance including facilitating steering committee meetings.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), comfortable engaging stakeholders and documenting outcomes.
