This outstanding opportunity will challenge you to work closely with various collaborators, including Category Supplier Managers, Central Engineering, and Finance, to effectively carry out ambitious procurement strategies.ResponsibilitiesManage procurement process for Capital, Spares, and Services.Coordinate Procure to Pay (P2P) process, ensuring seamless delivery dates, cash flow maintenance, budgeting, and invoice reconciliation.Maintain timely delivery (OTD) to meet network capacity requirements.Act as the primary contact for site/network suppliers and manage supplier relationships.Perform commercial supplier qualification to ensure strategic supplier development.Maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers while addressing performance issues.Ensure compliance with Micron’s code-of-conduct and corporate social responsibility initiatives.Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions across multiple organizational levels.Drive localization efforts to improve supply chain resilience and cost competitiveness.Supplier-Related Savings and NegotiationsApply data and should-cost models to drive cost improvements.Serve as the subject matter expert, sharing supplier knowledge with key collaborators.Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals.Develop contract strategies, negotiate terms, and enforce conditions with managed suppliers.Supplier Performance ManagementPartner with the Category team to build a comprehensive view of supplier performance.Collect and relay site-specific priorities to suppliers.Collaborate internally to develop key performance measures for strategic suppliers and monitor their performance to ensure continuous improvement.AI-Enabled Continuous ImprovementAdopt and lead automation or AI‑enabled continuous improvement projects/initiatives to drive overall business process simplification, productivity and operational excellence improvements.Education and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree or comparable experience in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.At least 7 years of experience in Engineering, Purchasing/Procurement, or Supply Chain.Prior experience managing semiconductor equipment is preferred.SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and persuasive advocacy abilities.Effective collaborator relationship management in a complex matrix organization.Innovation and teamwork focus.Capable of working independently and within a global cross-functional team.Proficient in written communication and experienced in crafting executive summaries and reports.Experience with Automation, AI, and machine learning analytics and process improvements is advantageous.This opportunity allows you to become part of a team committed to operational excellence via AI-powered continuous improvement efforts!
