Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Sr Process Engineer to join our advanced semiconductor manufacturing team. You will sustain production lines, monitor SPC/FDC, drive CPK improvements, and troubleshoot process and tool issues.

You will develop new process recipes for evolving technologies, support CIP initiatives, and work with cross-functional teams and suppliers to converge best-known methods. Coaching associates and opportunities for global exposure are available.

Qualifications

• MS/BS in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Materials Science Engineering, Chemistry or Physics.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar process engineering role.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Sustain production line monitoring, SPC/FDC, CPK improvement and troubleshooting.
• Support CIP to improve process robustness, cost and capacity.
• Develop new process recipes for new or existing technologies.
• Improve process performance indices using big data analytics and structured problem solving.
