Job summary

MVC Resources is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer (Food Processing & Packaging Automation) to support its global client base across APAC from Malaysia. The role blends hands-on machine troubleshooting with remote diagnostics, field commissioning, and customer training.

You will operate 60–70% travel, conduct turnkey installations, lead helpdesk workstreams, and translate field issues into knowledge bullets for internal teams. A strong background in mechatronics and PLCs is essential.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Automation.
5+ years hands-on machinery servicing, field service, or technical helpdesk experience.
Direct exposure to industrial machinery, food processing equipment, or high-speed packaging.

Responsibilities

Phase 1: on-site machine mastery with assembly, wiring, PLC calibration, and commissioning.
Phase 2: regional helpdesk, remote diagnostics, and guidance to field teams.
Phase 3: periodic travel for on-site troubleshooting, major overhauls, and turnkey installations across APAC.
Lead training for client engineers and maintenance staff.
