Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Kulim is seeking a Sr Facilities Specialist (Building Services) to plan and execute maintenance across buildings, fire protection, gas supply, and elevators, ensuring reliability and safety. You will drive improvement projects, support energy-saving initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders while upholding EQA, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.

This role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in engineering with relevant facilities experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma with minimum 5 years of facilities experience (OR a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years)
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 2+ years facilities experience
• Experience in Building Services, Fire Protection Systems, Gas Supply Systems, and Elevator/Lift Systems

• Plan and execute maintenance activities for Renesas Kulim's buildings, Fire Protection Systems, Gas Supply Systems, and Elevators.
• Plan and execute improvement projects related to Renesas Kulim's buildings, Fire Protection Systems, Gas Supply Systems, and Elevators.
• Support energy-saving and cost-saving initiatives established by the organization.
• Be familiar with FEE mechanical systems and provide support during abnormal events and system issues.

• Provide full support to the team in achieving organizational and departmental objectives.
• Collaborate and coordinate effectively with stakeholders within and across departments.
• Ensure compliance with the Environmental Quality Act (EQA), Safety Management System, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.

• Plan and execute maintenance activities for Renesas Kulim's buildings, Fire Protection Systems, Gas Supply Systems, and Elevators.
• Plan and execute improvement projects related to Renesas Kulim's buildings, Fire Protection Systems, Gas Supply Systems, and Elevators.
• Support energy-saving and cost-saving initiatives established by the organization.
• Be familiar with FEE mechanical systems and provide support during abnormal events and system issues.
• Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant facilities experience; OR
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant facilities experience.
• Experience in Building Services, Fire Protection Systems, Gas Supply Systems, and Elevator/Lift Systems.
• Candidates with the following competency certifications will have an added advantage:
  • CePIESTO (PCP)
  • CePBFO
