Qualifications

• 3+ years of database development experience.
• Strong SQL querying, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS, SSRS.
• Data modeling and database design experience.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration.
• Experience debugging and optimizing SQL code.
• Familiarity with data replication and data integration processes.
• Experience supporting financial or insurance systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database structures, including tables, relationships, and data models.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, and views to ensure database performance and efficiency.
• Support data aggregation processes for MFRS 17 and ITSR, ensuring alignment across systems.
• Develop and enhance reporting solutions using SSIS and SSRS.
• Perform ETL processes by extracting data from multiple sources, transforming it into the required format, and loading it into databases or data warehouses.
• Assist in data mapping and ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Design and set up new databases to support reporting and business requirements.
• Develop scripts for report generation and file processing to support ITSR and MFRS 17 reporting needs.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of SQL code, stored procedures, and database-related issues using SSMS.
• Conduct end-to-end testing for databases, scripts, and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with architecture, project, and business teams on technical design, documentation, and implementation.
• Support data replication processes (e.g. PMACS to EDS) to meet MFRS 17 requirements.
