Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• 1–2 years working experience in manufacturing with machine operation, data collection & analytical skills preferred.
• Working experiences in sputter metrology tool and knowledge of Magnetic materials used in HDD would be an added advantage.
• Understanding of failure mechanisms, ability to isolate & detect process changes causing machine alarms.
• Proficient in MS Windows Software (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Effective team player with cross-functional communication skills across Production, Equipment, Yield, and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform measurements on characterization / evaluations samples following the experiment plan prepared by Engineer; also for production monitoring samples.
• Carry out troubleshooting on metrology tools.
• Data compilation using Excel or PowerPoint for measurement samples.
• Monitor machine alarms, take action per guidelines & instructions.
• Carry out periodic samples housekeeping & other tasks assigned by Engineer.
• Support & cooperate with other departments to solve MES (Manufacturing Execution System) issues.
• Comply with EHS policy and participate in IMS, 6S, RBA, BCMS, etc.
