Job summary

Anotech in Malaysia is seeking a Tie-In Connection & Structures Engineer to support the design and delivery of subsea tie-in connections and structures for an FPSO project.

You will review drawings, calculations, and vendor documents; coordinate with SPS, SURF, pipeline, installation, and structural teams; and provide ongoing technical support through fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Subsea, or related engineering.
• Experience in subsea structures and tie-in engineering for Oil & Gas.
• Experience with FPSO or offshore/subsea projects.
• Knowledge of subsea connection systems and installation methods.

Responsibilities

• Support design and engineering of subsea tie-in connections and structures.
• Review drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with SPS, SURF, pipeline, installation, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
• Support design of subsea structures, connection systems, supports, and associated components.
• Review vendor and contractor technical documentation.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and engineering workshops.
• Support constructability, installation, and fabrication reviews.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to tie-in connections and structures.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and HSE requirements.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

The role will ensure that subsea structures and connections are designed, integrated, and delivered in accordance with project and industry requirements.
