Job summary

RUNATI ATHLETIX SDN BHD is seeking a Product Developer to research current sportswear and fashion trends and identify new product opportunities. You will develop trendy and commercially viable sports products and assist in the end-to-end product development process including apparel, footwear and accessories.

You will interact with overseas suppliers, especially from China, negotiating specifications, samples, MOQs and lead times, and travel to China when required.

Qualifications

• Need strong interest in sportswear, fashion, product development or merchandising.
• Proactive in researching trends, colours, designs and products.
• Good command of Mandarin and English for supplier communication.
• Experience in product development, merchandising, purchasing, sourcing or retail is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Research local and international trends in sportswear and fashion.
• Identify new product opportunities from market trends, competitors and sales feedback.
• Develop trendy, attractive and commercially viable sports products.
• Assist in product development including apparel, teamwear, footwear, caps, bags and sports goods.
