Al-Ikhsan Sports Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager in Malaysia to oversee daily store operations and drive sales targets. You will lead, motivate, and coach the sales team, monitor performance, manage merchandising and inventory, and ensure outstanding customer service.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelors in Retail Management or Marketing, and 1–2 years in retail sales or supervision. Weekend work is required, with competitive salary plus commission and staff discounts.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Retail Management, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in retail sales or store supervision.
• Proven leadership and team-management abilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about sports and retail excellence.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Store/Sales Manager in overseeing daily store operations and staff performance.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive selling and upselling.
• Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve targets.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and provide recommendations.
• Ensure the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction.
• Manage visual merchandising, stock display, and replenishment.
• Handle inventory control, stock takes, and loss prevention.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of store staff.
• Prepare and present sales and performance reports to management.
• Act as PIC in the absence of Store/Branch Manager.
