Job summary

Al-Ikhsan Sports Sdn Bhd (Retail) is seeking a friendly retail associate in Malaysia to greet customers, assess needs, and guide product selection with confidence. You will drive sales, maintain up-to-date knowledge across footwear, apparel and equipment, ensure attractive merchandise, handle cash accurately, assist stock counts, and uphold our brand’s customer experience and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Retail or sales experience preferred, sports retail experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about sports, fitness, and customer service.
• Positive attitude, team player, and results-driven.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with product selection based on their needs and preferences.
• Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive selling and upselling.
• Maintain product knowledge across all categories (footwear, apparel, and equipment).
• Ensure merchandise is well-presented, properly tagged, and adequately stocked.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in stock management, replenishment, and inventory counts.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store in accordance with company standards.
• Provide feedback on customer trends and suggestions for improvement.
• Uphold the brand image and deliver a consistent customer experience aligned with AL-IKHSAN SPORTS values.
