Job summary

Bglobaltech is seeking a Specialist Architect to lead design for data centre and IT infrastructure projects in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will collaborate with senior architects, engineers and project stakeholders to deliver innovative, sustainable and efficient design solutions for high-profile, international deployments.

You will prepare architectural drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp; conduct feasibility studies; coordinate with authorities; and ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in architectural design, preferably in data centre, IT infrastructure, or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and other architectural design software.
• Strong knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient design principles.
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent visualization and presentation skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the design, planning, and development of data centre architecture and IT infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and oversee architectural drawings, schematics, and 3D models using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Collaborate with engineers and consultants to integrate structural, electrical, and mechanical elements into architectural designs.
• Manage project documentation, including technical reports, presentations, and specifications.

• Ensure adherence to local and international building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Participate in client meetings and provide innovative design solutions to optimize project outcomes.
• Oversee project coordination and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
