Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
- Lead end-to-end sourcing and contracting activities across global indirect procurement categories, including Digital & Technology, Marketing & Brand Services, Professional Services, Logistics, Workplace, HSSE, Travel, Contingent Workforce, and MRO.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that balance cost optimisation, risk management, supplier innovation, and business continuity.
- Leverage market intelligence and industry insights to identify opportunities for value creation and supplier performance improvement.
- Ensure sourcing strategies align with global category objectives, operational requirements, and procurement governance standards.
- Partner with senior business stakeholders across functions and regions to understand business needs and influence sourcing decisions.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, Category Managers, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to drive successful project outcomes.
- Lead supplier engagement, negotiations, and commercial discussions to secure optimal contractual and commercial outcomes.
- Manage supplier due diligence, prequalification, and onboarding activities in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
Sourcing & Contracting Execution
- Manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, prioritising activities based on business impact, value, complexity, and risk.
- Lead tendering activities including RFI, RFQ, RFP, e-auctions, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead commercial discussions to maximise value and mitigate risk.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms in partnership with legal and business stakeholders.
- Manage contract exceptions, approvals, and execution in accordance with governance requirements.
Procurement Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, sourcing governance frameworks, and contractual obligations.
- Operationalize awarded contracts within procurement systems to support efficient execution and value realisation.
- Champion procurement best practices, process standardisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to capability building and knowledge sharing across the procurement organisation.

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 8-10 years of end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and contracting experience within a multinational or global environment.
- Proven experience managing complex, high-value, and strategic sourcing initiatives across indirect procurement categories.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in supplier negotiations and stakeholder management.
- Experience operating independently while managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Experience within the lubricants, manufacturing, energy, or industrial sectors would be advantageous.
