Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and implement Quorum solutions in Malaysia and APAC.

The Asia Pacific Professional Services team at Quorum Software are seeking a Solutions Consultant. The consultant will implement Quorum Planning solutions for our clients, as well as support solutions previously implemented. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur.

Solutions Consultants are at the front end of the software of the organization, establishing trust with our clients by helping them solve their business problems and improve their processes. Above all else, quality work and client satisfaction are our/your top priorities.

The consultant will initially work with an experienced consultant to implement business-oriented software solutions for clients using our commercial software. In this role, the consultant can learn about designing solutions for our software to be applied to business processes that manage client operational needs. In the process, the successful candidate will be working in a project team and witness the transition between hands-on project management within individual projects in support of overall program goals and deliverables, to high-level relationship building and program strategy planning and execution.

The ideal candidate will have a proven history of project execution success implementing business-oriented software solutions within the Oil and Gas industry, preferably with some experience in Upstream Planning and/or Economics.

Responsibilities

• Understand client business requirements and processes, and implement Quorum solutions by configuring Planning Space and other software in the Planning suite in client offices in Malaysia, across APAC or remotely
• Deliver key project initiatives on schedule, on budget, and to specification
• Provide ad hoc solution support to clients in the region
• Resolve any issues using appropriate conflict resolution skills
• Ensure that client needs are fulfilled by providing professional, helpful, high-quality service and assistance before, during and after the customer's requirements are met
• Solve challenging technical support questions related to the solution suite
• Assist in maintenance and improvement of the training materials, product documentation and implementation standards
• Provide solution training to clients and employees
• Collaborate with customers and Quorum Professional Services to deliver required functionality and enhancement of front and back end of Quorum Software Suite
• Supporting professional services IT technical tasks related to Quorum Software Suite
• And other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a resilience to obstacles and an internal drive to find the solution
• University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Business IT (Infocomm Technology) required
• Fluency in English is a must, proficiency in Bahasa will be favourably considered
• Oil and gas industry experience as well as familiarity with business planning
• A working knowledge of economic and financial modelling and performance management metrics
• An understanding of the needs and expectations of our clients and the ability and willingness to meet these expectations and develop trust with clients
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the confidence and presentation skills necessary to present your findings to software end users
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Platform APIs and languages ideally in Odata, RestfulAPI, PowerQuery
• Willing to travel nationally and internationally, up to 25% at times, providing on-site consulting work to clients when required
