Job summary

Quorum Software is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead all stages of software project delivery in a hybrid setting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

You will work closely with clients to define requirements, manage budgets, and drive cross-functional teams across Sales, Tech, and Service Delivery to implement next-generation software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, or Business from an accredited university.
• 10+ years’ experience with at least 5 years in Software Project Management.
• Experience in Software Implementation and leading an implementation team.
• PM/Prince2/Agile/CBAP certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication, delivery and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and diverse teams.
• Customer-service mindset to improve service delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all steps of the Project Management Life Cycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure.
• Meet budget objectives and adjust constraints based on financial analysis.
• Collaborate with Clients daily to capture business and technical requirements for next-gen software solutions.
• Implement best practices in Software Project Management and propose delivery improvements.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders across Sales, Tech and Service Delivery.
• Develop, maintain and revise project proposals with objectives, tech specs, timelines and staffing.
• Participate in configuration, enhancement and testing during software development and implementation.
• Coordinate with software engineering teams to integrate releases into client environments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all steps of Project Management Life Cycle; Initiation, Planning, Execution and Closure.
• Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Working with Clients daily to obtain business and technical specifications to help implement next generation software solutions.
• Implement best practices in Software Project Management and provide innovative solutions to delivery challenges.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and other key stakeholders. Partner with the Sales, Technical and Service Delivery teams for effective cross-functional cooperation.
• Develop, maintain, and revise proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
• Participating in the configuration, enhancement, and testing phases associated with software development and implementation.
• Working closely with software engineering teams to integrate release software into Client environments.
• And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Engineering, or Business from an accredited university.
• At least 10 years’ experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project Management in Software Solutions. Domain knowledge in the Energy/ Oil & Gas Industry is welcomed.
• Demonstrated experience in Software Implementation and managing an implementation team.
• Project management and business analysis certifications like PMP, Prince2, Agile, CBAP is added advantage.
• Good communication, project delivery and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong collaborator with the ability to work cross functional and work with people from different level and cultural background.
• Customer service and solutions mindset to always improve on service delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
