Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking a Solution Designer, IT (Fullstack – AI Ops & Support) to develop, integrate and support enterprise applications while providing technical operations support for enterprise AI platforms and AI-enabled applications. This hybrid role combines hands-on full stack development with troubleshooting across application, API, database, integration, cloud and AI layers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• More than 3 years of software development experience.
• Back-end development with .NET/.NET Core/C#, Node.js and Python.
• API and integration experience covering REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, JWT, API authentication and authorisation, webhooks and API testing tools such as Postman.
• Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Azure Cosmos DB or equivalent technologies.
• Cloud and DevOps experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, Git, CI/CD, Azure DevOps or GitHub, Docker and containers.
• Practical knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, Agentic AI, AI agents, AI application troubleshooting and LLM APIs.
• Experience with one or more of Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen or MCP is an advantage.
• Experience with monitoring or logging platforms such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Elastic/ELK, Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog or OpenTelemetry is an advantage.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical problem-solving, ownership and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, learn new tools and technologies, and maintain high standards for code quality, security and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and support enterprise web applications.
• Build front-end, back-end and integration components using modern frameworks.
• Deliver committed development work within sprint and release timelines while maintaining code quality, security and supportability.
• Use approved source control and CI/CD processes for production deployments where technically applicable.
• Provide technical operations support for enterprise AI platforms and AI-enabled applications.
• Troubleshoot production issues across application, API, database, integration, cloud and AI layers and progress incidents within agreed service levels.
• Diagnose issues involving prompts, context, knowledge sources, models, integrations and application behaviour.
• Support Agentic AI solutions by diagnosing failed agent executions, tool or API invocation failures, permission or authentication issues.
• Develop and support integrations between AI applications and enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorisation, payload, connectivity, timeout and downstream application issues.
• Monitor critical integrations and support reliable API service availability.
• Ensure APIs and integrations follow approved authentication, authorisation and security requirements.
• Provide Level 2 / Level 3 technical support for enterprise applications and AI platforms.
• Perform root cause analysis for major incidents and document corrective actions.
• Collaborate with IT management, vendors and delivery teams to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Maintain broad technical knowledge and manage multiple workstreams.

We are looking for a Solution Designer, IT (Fullstack – AI Ops & Support) to develop, enhance, integrate and support enterprise applications while providing technical operations support for enterprise AI platforms and AI-enabled applications. This hybrid Development + AI Operations role combines hands‑on full stack development with troubleshooting across application, API, database, integration, cloud and AI layers, including Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.

Make an Impact by:

1. Full Stack Application Development

• Design, develop, test, deploy and support enterprise web applications and digital solutions.
• Build and maintain front-end, back-end and integration components using modern development frameworks and engineering practices.
• Deliver committed development work within agreed sprint and release timelines while maintaining code quality, security and supportability.
• Use approved source control and CI/CD processes for production deployments where technically applicable.

2. AI Application Operations & Technical Support

• Provide technical support for enterprise AI platforms and AI-enabled applications, investigating user issues, performance problems, AI failures, RAG issues and workflow failures.
• Troubleshoot production issues across application, API, database, integration, cloud and AI layers and progress incidents within agreed service levels.
• Diagnose issues involving prompts, context, knowledge sources, models, integrations and application behaviour, escalating only when deeper engineering or vendor support is required.
• Support timely restoration of service for high-priority AI incidents and contribute evidence-based troubleshooting during major incidents.

3. Generative AI, LLM & Agentic AI Support

• Apply practical knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, context and token management, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search and model APIs.
• Investigate retrieval quality, document ingestion and indexing, embeddings and knowledge-source issues.
• Diagnose model errors, timeouts, token-limit, rate-limit and content-filter issues.
• Support Agentic AI solutions by diagnosing failed agent executions, tool or API invocation failures, permission or authentication issues, and using available traces and logs to identify root causes.

4. API, Integration & Platform Support

• Develop and support integrations between AI applications and enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorisation, payload, connectivity, timeout and downstream application issues.
• Monitor critical integrations and support reliable API service availability.
• Ensure APIs and integrations follow approved authentication, authorisation and security requirements.

5. Incident, Problem Management & Continuous Improvement

• Provide Level 2 / Level 3 technical support for enterprise applications and AI platforms.
• Perform root cause analysis for major or severe incidents within agreed timelines and document corrective and preventive actions.
• Reduce repeated incidents by addressing underlying technical causes rather than relying on recurring workarounds.
• Collaborate with IT management, business stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions and uphold established development standards.
• Maintain broad technical knowledge across the systems portfolio and manage multiple concurrent workstreams effectively.
