Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced cloud specialist in Kuala Lumpur to lead scenario-based POC tests, design test architectures, and deliver hands-on demonstrations for key customers.

The role involves developing reusable demo capabilities, validating cloud migration methods, and contributing to regional product requirements to stay competitive. You will engage in pre-sales discussions to identify opportunities and nurture new industry solutions.

Qualifications

• Understand functions, principles and architecture of cloud domains; basic development experience preferred.
• Experience with migration methods and processes on/off the cloud; project experience preferred.
• Experience with public cloud solutions in multiple industries such as finance, Internet, manufacturing, energy, education, healthcare, government is preferred.
• Experience planning, implementing and maintaining virtualization and cloudification for IT departments in related industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead scenario-based POC tests for key customers, including architecture design, environment setup, and customer explanations.
• Develop common capabilities of solutions, such as scenario-based test cases and demos.
• Oversee migration verification for selected cloud products and delivery of key projects.
• Provide input for general product requirements based on regional and industry characteristics to boost competitiveness.
• Interface with customers during pre-sales to identify opportunities and incubate new industry solutions.

Job description

1. Take charge of scenario-based POC tests for key customers, including test solution architecture design, POC environment built, hand-on operations, customer explanation, and report output.

2. Develop common capabilities of solutions, such as scenario-based test case and demo.

3. Be responsible for the migration verification of some Internet public cloud products and solutions, and delivery of key projects.

4. Provide input of general requirements for products and solutions based on the characteristics of the region and industry to support competitiveness improvement.

5. Be responsible for technical communication and insight into key customer opportunities in the pre-sales phase of new industry customers, and incubate new industry solutions.

Expertise:

1. Have a basic command of the functions, principles, and architecture of one or more domains of the public/private cloud. Basic programming or development experience is preferred.

2. Have experience in migration methods and processes on and off the cloud. Complete project experience is preferred.

3. Experience in public cloud solutions in one or more industries, such as finance, Internet (gaming and video), manufacturing, energy, education, healthcare, and government, is preferred.

4. Experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining virtualization and cloudification projects of IT departments in related industries is preferred.

Business skills:

1. Be able to support projects and communicate with customers on technical solutions.

2. Have hands-on experience in the business and IT of a specific industry and region.

3. Strong technical background and good understanding of data, platforms, and technologies.
