Job summary

AIS Ltd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our team. The role focuses on developing CAD models, creating technical drawings, and supporting product design across engineering teams. You will travel globally to AIS sites or customer sites as required.

Successful candidates will have strong Solidworks and PDM skills (essential) and experience with Autodesk Inventor (desirable). Fluency in English and a proactive, detail‑oriented work style are required.

Qualifications

• High level of skill and experience with Solidworks and PDM (essential).
• Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment (essential).
• Experience in subsea industry is desirable.
• Fluent in speaking and writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop CAD models including parts and assemblies.
• Prepare technical drawings using design software.
• Support product design and development across design teams.
• Create new parts and BOMs.
• Travel globally to AIS sites or customer sites as required.
