Job summary

A renewable energy company seeks a proactive Project/Operation & Maintenance Engineer/Technician in Malaysia. The role involves managing solar PV project execution, ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimizing system performance. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and has at least 1 year of experience in solar PV project management or O&M. Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are required, along with a willingness to travel extensively across Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in solar PV project management or O&M roles.
• Certifications such as PW wireman, chargeman, CIDB Green Card preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to handle physical site tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project execution and resource allocation.
• Ensure communication with customers and project team for Operation Excellence.
• Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Skills

Technical knowledge of solar PV systems

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Excellent problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Education

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
