Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead end-to-end delivery of solar energy projects in our construction and engineering portfolio in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will oversee project management, engineering coordination, and commercial performance across multiple solar PV projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience in renewable energy or infrastructure, with strong EPC/EPCC knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or related field.
15+ years of project management experience in construction, infra, or renewable energy.
Proven leadership in large-scale solar PV or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle of solar project execution from development to commissioning.
Oversee multiple concurrent projects within scope, schedule and budget.
Establish governance, reporting structures, and performance tracking.
Drive project execution strategies, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with internal departments.
Manage contracts, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.
Champion HSE culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
