Job summary

Verdant Solar Sdn Bhd is offering an Internship in Operations & Maintenance at our Petaling Jaya site. You will assist in system monitoring, field maintenance, documentation, and client coordination while gaining hands-on experience in solar energy operations.

Open to local Malaysian students, with a degree/diploma in engineering and a willingness to travel for on-site support across the Northern Region. You will receive a lucrative monthly allowance and benefits, with potential for full-time

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering fields.

Responsibilities

System Monitoring: track daily solar plant performance and alarms, support engineers with data analysis.
Field & Preventive Support: on-site inspections, cleaning supervision, electrical checks, PPE prep.
Documentation & Claims: draft maintenance reports, update logs, prepare photos/docs for warranty or insurance.
Technical Connections: assist during troubleshooting, check basic electrical/AC/DC components, support on-site recovery.
Client & Logistics Coordination: schedule maintenance, handle inquiries, coordinate with Supply Chain for parts/logistics.
Safety & Compliance: follow safety guidelines and PPE usage.
Continuous Improvement: assist in data organization and operational enhancement tasks.
