Job summary

Sunzo Solar is seeking an operations leader to own the end-to-end installation journey for residential solar projects across Malaysia. This role oversees procurement, permitting, installation, commissioning, and regulatory approvals, coordinating suppliers, subcontractors, installers, engineers, and regulators.

Lead a hands-on, scalable operations function with strong emphasis on safety, schedule adherence, quality, and profitability as Sunzo Solar grows nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in solar operations or related field.
• Strong understanding of Malaysia's residential solar ecosystem and regulatory framework.
• Experience managing subcontractors and field operations teams.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining timelines.
• Familiarity with safety and quality standards in installation and operation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end installation pipeline from proposal to commissioning and TNB approval.
• Ensure installations are safe, on schedule, within budget, and meet specs.
• Monitor timelines, resolve delays, bottlenecks, and risks.
• Track signed-but-not-installed projects and maintain customer communications.
• Maintain visibility across project pipeline via CRM and reporting.
• Coordinate outsourced installation partners and field crews.
