Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in Subang Jaya is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join the Web Applications and API Services Department. You will create test plans, automate tests with Playwright and TypeScript, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

You will perform API, functional, performance, and security testing while collaborating with developers and product teams. The role requires a minimum 4 years in testing, strong English communication, and experience working in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software or web application testing.
• 3+ years automating tests in web apps with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience API testing and REST services validation.
• Experience CI/CD integration (Azure DevOps preferred) and Git.
• Knowledge of test automation design and best practices.
• Experience with SQL data validation and Agile teams.
• Technical communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test plans and cases for automated and manual testing.
• Design, build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
• Analyze results, identify trends and improve test effectiveness.
• Perform functional, regression, load, and security testing.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers and stakeholders.
• Assist in production issues and bug fixing, define testing standards.
